Bowers dishes out 1,000th Career Assist
Saturday afternoon, Sophomore Setter Jayci Bowers dished out her 1,000th career assist during the match against Cleveland State Community College. When asked about the achievement of her setter, Head Coach Autum Meade had this to say: " Jayci, the Elizabethton, Tennessee native, is averaging 20+ assists per match in addition to double digit digs and multiple kills. Between her high school and collegiate careers she has a massed 2,500 assists and still has two and a half years of eligibility remaining!"
Bowers and the rest of the Flying Eagles volleyball team return to action on Wednesday Oct. 23 when they travel to Louisburg College to round out their regular season play. Your Flying Eagles won in straight sets back in September when the two teams previously met.
