It's an exhilarating time at Southwest as our volleyball programs continue to flourish, and this announcement marks our commitment to fostering the sport's growth and development in Southwest Virginia. These camps are crafted to blend fun, inclusivity, and fundamental skill-building, all within the vibrant backdrop of our picturesque campus. 2024 Summer Skills Camp - Thursday, June 27th 2024 , 12:00 PM - 3:30 PM. SWCC volleyball has created a camp to cover all aspects of the game. Skills are taught through drills and exercises that focus on passing, setting, hitting and serving. SWCC volleyball has designed this camp for any beginner to intermediate player. Our volleyball staff will assist each athlete in developing the fundamental skills of the game through game-based drills and scrimmages aimed at developing the whole player. Cost $25.00 per player. 2025 Pre-Season Prospect Camp - Friday, August 9th 2024 @ 10:00 AM. SWCC Volleyball will be hosting a prospect camp for any 2025 graduate, or previous high school graduate, who may be interested in playing collegiate volleyball at Southwest as a walk-on or on an athletic scholarship. This camp gives athletes the opportunity to practice with our players and staff, tour our campus, and explore what SWCC has to offer. This is a great opportunity for any prospect athlete to gain a better understanding of the environment and team culture of our Flying Eagle volleyball team. All interested athletes MUST be registered by August 1st, 2024. Each athlete attending the prospect camp must bring a copy of a current sports physical and the $10.00 entry fee.
