Cedar Bluff, VA- Southwest Virginia Community College softball has announced its 2026 season schedule, featuring a full slate of Region 10 competition and non-conference matchups as the Flying Eagles prepare for spring play.
The Flying Eagles open the 2026 campaign in early February, beginning with a road contest against Louisburg College on February 5, followed by a second meeting with the Hurricanes on February 6. SWCC will make its home debut on February 14 against Caldwell Community College, marking the first chance for fans to see the Flying Eagles in action this season.
Season Highlights
Conference play ramps up quickly, with February matchups against USC Union, Genesee Community College, and Patrick & Henry Community College setting the tone for the spring. March features a demanding stretch of Region 10 action, including games against Cleveland Community College, Surry Community College, Catawba Valley Community College, and Richard Bland College.
The Flying Eagles will also face Bryant & Stratton Virginia and Fayetteville Technical Community College during the heart of the schedule, providing a mix of conference and non-conference tests.
April closes the regular season with key matchups against Pitt Community College, Wake Technical Community College, Surry CC, Patrick & Henry, and Brunswick Community College, as SWCC positions itself for a late-season push toward postseason play.
