Your Flying Eagles Softball team participated in their Second Annual ACFT

The United States Army returned to campus to facilitate the Army Combat Fitness Test with the Softball team. The ACFT evaluates a soldier's physical fitness and readiness. Softball members were tasked with completing a 3 Repetition Maximum Deadlift, a Standing power Throw, Hand Release Push-Ups, the Sprint-Drag-Carry, a Plank, and a two-mile run.

Princeton, West Virginia-based U.S. Army Servicemembers first visited campus during the 2023 regular season.

Assistant Coach Runie J. Mensche coordinates the Softball program's participation with the Army's ACFT. Coach Mensche will ship off to Basic Training in November, pursuing a commission in the Army Reserve.
