CEDAR BLUFF, Va. – Southwest Virginia Community College men's soccer turned in a gritty defensive effort Tuesday, playing Emory & Henry JV to a 0–0 draw at home, running their unbeaten streak to five games.
The Flying Eagles managed four total shots, with Jacque Watson and Oscar Seliger each forcing saves, but neither side was able to break through. Emory & Henry tallied 16 attempts, but a three-man SWCC goalkeeping rotation of Pedro Marcos Hernández, Cian Thomas, and Alejandro Fuentes-Ramos combined for five saves to secure the clean sheet.
Southwest Virginia's backline, led by Adrian Berg, Jake Campbell, Sergio Salas and Fedde Lindner, held firm throughout the 90 minutes, limiting the Wasps despite a lopsided shot count.
