Men's Soccer Wins First Game in School History

On September 4^th, 2023, the Flying Eagles Men's Soccer team won the first soccer match in school history! This win came against the Alice Lloyd Eagles of Pippa Passes, Kentucky. Leading the Eagles were goals from Dillion Sears, Waheed Haruna, and a PK from Darren Bantom. Together they gave the Flying Eagles their 3-2 victory. When asked about his team as a whole, Coach Gary had this to say, "Our guys have put in many hours on the training pitch in order to become more competitive as a team. A huge part of this is that winner's mentality of learning from mistakes, trusting teammates and coaching, and finding ways when our legs are tired to keep that fighting spirit."
