Isaac Presley named Region 10 Division 2 Player of the Year
On behalf of Flying Eagles Athletes, we would like to give a HUGE shout out to Isaac Presley on being named the Region 10 Division 2 Player of the year. He was awarded this in his first season with the Flying Eagles where he set the individual school record when he tied for 24th in the Southeast District Tournament.
When asked about his experience golfing at SWCC, here is what Player of the Year Isaac Presley had to say “I had a few rough scores at the beginning of the season. I told myself I couldn't let it happen again. I had Coach Greenway and Coach Tayloe helping me every step of the way, from my swing to bringing my mid match Arnold Palmers for me to sip on. They helped me so much in every way possible. I'm very thankful for my coaches, teammates, and the opportunity to play golf at SWCC. I'm glad the hard work has paid off.”
Isaac plans to return to the Flying Eagles Men’s Golf team this fall as he continues his education at Southwest Virginia Community College. He hopes to continue to improve in both areas!
